Hi everyone! ![]()
In a condominium, you receive an annual breakdown of charges… and you discover what you’ve consumed a year too late
@Jluc asked to be able to track their meters managed by OCEA. Here is OCEA Smart Building: your water and heating readings directly in Gladys.
What it does
Cold water and hot water, in m³, with their cumulative indices.
Heating, depending on what you have at home:
- a thermal energy meter, in kWh, connected to Gladys’ energy tracking, including cost;
- or distributors on the radiators, in units. This is not energy: these units only indicate what portion of the building’s heating bill you are responsible for. The integration therefore displays them honestly as a unitless meter, never in kWh.
One device per apartment, even if you have several on the same account.
A widget « OCEA Consumption »: the consumption of the month, fluid by fluid.- In French, English, German, and Spanish

The cool thing
High hot water consumption this week → a little reminder « we might have a dripping tap »
Beginning of winter → we compare the heating units from one month to another, before the year-end breakdown
Installation
Gladys 5.1 minimum.
It will arrive in the store later today. In a hurry? Integrations → Install from GitHub, with the address GitHub - guim31/gladys-ocea: OCEA Smart Building water and heating consumption (French co-ownership meters) for Gladys Assistant · GitHub
- In the configuration, enter the email and password of your OCEA resident space (the one from https://espace-resident.ocea-sb.com).
- Click on Test connection and read.
- Discovery tab: add your apartment.
Readings are taken every 6 hours by default (adjustable from 1 hour to 24 hours): the meters are in any case only read once or a few times a day.
Honest small reservations
Beta, developed without an OCEA account. I still checked the connection against the real portal: it goes all the way and correctly recognizes a wrong password. What remains to be seen on a real account is the detail of the readings, especially for the distributors.- OCEA does not have a public API: the integration reads the portal like your browser, and may break if OCEA changes it.
@Jluc, this is your request: if you can try it, your feedback interests me a lot, especially what comes up for heating ![]()
It is based on the Home Assistant integration ha_ocea_smart_building by Triskae, under MIT license: a big thank you to him!
Like the previous ones, developed with Claude Code
. Independent project, not affiliated with OCEA Smart Building.
