Little digression @pierre-gilles:
You use Claude Fable, and I, who don’t have a Claude subscription, wanted to know if we can use Fable via API?
So I can test things in Opencode / Antigravity ![]()
You can, yes! But it gets very expensive very quickly ![]()
And the quality of the code doesn’t just depend on the model, it also depends a lot on the tool using it. My partner uses GitHub Copilot at work, and she clearly doesn’t have the same experience with Fable in Copilot as with Fable in Claude Code.
If I were you, I’d rather take a Claude subscription, even just for a month. It’s commitment-free, so you can try it out and see if you like it!
Thanks for the advice!
I’ll look into it more closely ![]()
