Bug in feature search for MQTT integration

I get no results for certain features even though they are present in the dropdown list. Some results can only be found using the English value of the feature or the category.

For example in French, I search:

  • Donnée : no results (I do have results for Data)
  • Climatisation : no results (I do have results for Switch)
  • Monoxyde : no results
  • Dioxyde : no results
  • Prise : no results (I do have results for switch)
  • Devise : no results (CURRENCY gives DEVISE / Monnaie)
  • Lumière : no results
  • Pollution : no results

and there are many others like that.

I have the impression that the search is not performed on categories whose category name does not appear in the feature name (for most cases but not for Television for example)

I can create a GitHub issue if needed

Thanks for the reply!

Yes, indeed I’d appreciate you creating an issue

Hi @qleg

I looked into it, and it’s not really a bug — it’s just that the search is performed on the final value rather than the category.

In the example you gave, it’s « normal » that you don’t find it when searching for donnée because the feature’s name is « Taille ».

If I search for taille I do find the feature:

Now, maybe the features are misnamed!

Do you think we should rename some features?
