Gladys Assistant 4.31: Filter by tag & MQTT in scenes

Hello everyone!

After Gladys Assistant 4.30 and its famous alarm, here’s a new version of Gladys with quite a few nice features

Check it out above!

Thanks to @Lokkye and @cicoub13 for their contributions

Edit: I’m using this post to say that I’m looking for help here to write content for the Gladys blog!

Good evening @pierre-gilles
I’d like to know what this historization of values is for?
Is it used just to display the graphs or is it used for something else?
It’s not very clear to me.
Thanks

  • « Historisation des états des appareils » → The « raw » data from your sensors. Currently, in Gladys this is only used for the « 24h » view and shorter on the graphs, but later it could be exported, or you could have fun injecting the SQLite DB into an analysis tool if you want to create advanced graphs outside of Gladys.
  • « Conservers les états agrégés » → The pre-calculated data for the « Last month/Last 3 months/Last year » graphs.

It’s up to you to decide how much you need!

Ok, that’s clearer now. :grinning:
Thank you.

Good evening,
Thank you @pierre-gilles for the versions you produce at such a brisk pace and to all the very involved contributors.
As for the data, is it possible, or will it be possible later, to extract a single day from the history? Today, once the 24 hours have passed, the only available charts cover a 7-day period.

Indeed @Jluc, I invite you to submit a feature request :slightly_smiling_face:

Does 4.31 not fix the tablets disconnecting after the alarm is disarmed?

I’ve already optimized quite a bit thanks to this great history management feature.

Do you think my database is that big? Because this is just the beginning :joy:

It’s fine, my DB is only 17.7GB !!!

Luckily I’m no longer on my Raspberry Pi 4 with a 16GB SD card! :joy:

Anyway, thanks to all the contributors!

Edit: the cleanup started at 10 PM and not 4 AM.

2023-11-20T22:04:00+0100 <info> device.purgeStates.js:29 (DeviceManager.purgeStates) Purging device feature states of the last

I’m having a problem, probably since the update.

I can’t uncheck this box when I want to edit my scenes:

Am I the only one?

Hello @guim31
no, there are already two or three of us with you, but I posted there:

Thanks to everyone involved in this new release!

Reduced from 13GB to 5GB with 3 months of history and 6 months of aggregated states :tada:

Hello everyone,
As proposed, I have just posted a feature request:

« Retrieval of charts and their 24-hour values from previous periods »
Have a nice day
