Hello,
As requested by @pierre-gilles, I am creating a topic about creating graphical dashboards in Gladys.
As mentioned in a previous post, I am a Home Assistant user who prefers it over Gladys for two reasons:
- A larger number of integrations (for example, in Home Assistant, I have support for my Airzone air conditioning, an old Hitachi air conditioner thanks to the integration (and a Tado module), support for my Marantz stereo amplifier from the 70s… which I haven’t been able to find in Gladys)
- The ability to develop « graphical » dashboards. For example, I have created a floor plan of my house on which I have positioned, in the form of icons, my lights, my Reolink cameras, the different thermostats of my air conditioning system…)
I haven’t been able to find an equivalent in Gladys to develop more « sexy » dashboards, but perhaps it exists and I haven’t been able to find it.
The plugin factory would help reduce the gap between HA and Gladys in terms of integrations, and a dashboard design system would further limit the gap between the two products (but, well, the idea is not to turn Gladys into a clone of HA).
Warning: I know very little about Gladys and I am not an advanced Home Assistant user.
