I wanted to know how the Sonoff integration works.

Does Gladys use a Sonoff API?

Is an active internet connection required for it to work?

If you delete your Sonoff account, will Gladys still work with the elements?

Hi, you have 2 possibilities,
Either with ewelink, so internet

Or by flashing firmware with Tasmota, so locally

Yes, that’s what I understood.
The problem is that, given my electronics skills, flashing is impossible.

So, I’m going to look into replacing my Sonoff devices with Zigbee systems that are natively supported.

It seems to me that with the latest native firmware update of the sonoff, you can install Tasmota without any electronics, OTA as they say (Over The Air).

The thing is that I have some materials like electrical outlets or basicr2s, so they are not compatible with the tutorial.
