Hi everyone!
I’m happy to introduce Belgian Mobility, an external integration that brings public transport from all of Belgium into Gladys: SNCB trains, STIB metro, trams and buses, De Lijn and TEC.
No account, no API key: the data comes from two free open APIs, iRail for the trains and Transitous for the rest, real-time included where the operator publishes it.
What it does
One device per stop you follow (station, metro, tram or bus stop), optionally filtered by line: minutes until the next departure, its delay (with history) and a summary like “14:47 S61 → Wavre, Voie 5”.
Scene triggers: Départ en retard, Départ supprimé, Départ imminent (the “time to leave” before your bus) and Nouvelle perturbation SNCB, filterable by stop, line or even your train (IC 2113…).
Scene actions: get the next departure, plan a train journey between two stations, check the state of the SNCB network.
Two dashboard widgets: a departures board with delays/cancellations, and the SNCB network status.
A “Rechercher un arrêt” button that gives you a stop’s identifier in one click.
Available in French, English, German and Spanish.
Scene ideas
- Every weekday at 7:15: if my train is more than 5 min late, send me “Your IC is 12 min late, platform 4” on Telegram.
- 10 min before the bus: flash the hallway light so I leave on time.
- New disruption on my line: notification + announcement on the speaker.
Installation: Gladys 5.1 or later → Intégrations → search for “Belgian Mobility”. Enter your stops (e.g. Namur; be-stib_6 | 1, 5), save, then create the devices from the Découverte tab.
