Hello! I use Emby as a self-hosted media server. An external integration exposing the playback status (currently playing, on which device, what content) and scene triggers — dimming the living room lights when a movie starts, bringing them back up when paused — would enable real « home cinema » scenarios. The Emby API is local and documented, and the approach could easily extend to Jellyfin, its technically very close fork.
