Hi everyone! ![]()
The UGREEN NASync NAS devices have been making waves lately, and while Synology was already in Gladys, there was nothing for them. Here comes UGREEN NAS: your UGREEN NAS monitored from Gladys under UGOS Pro, locally.
What it does
The NAS: processor, memory, processor temperature, network throughput, uptime, and UGOS version.
One device per volume: used space, capacity, free space, status (healthy or degraded).
One device per disk: temperature and status according to UGOS. SMART data is never queried to avoid waking up disks in standby.
Three scene triggers: « Degraded Volume », « Disk Alert », and « NAS Unreachable ».
A « UGREEN NAS » widget: processor and memory gauges, issues first, volumes, network.
Read-only: no actions on the NAS, no shutdowns or restarts, nothing.- In French, English, German, and Spanish

The cool part
Disk alert → immediate notification, before the RAID gets upset
NAS unreachable for 5 minutes → « the NAS is no longer responding » on the phone
Installation
Gladys 5.1 minimum.
It will be available in the store later today. In a hurry? Integrations → Install from GitHub, with the address GitHub - guim31/gladys-ugreen-nas: UGREEN NAS (UGOS Pro) monitoring for Gladys Assistant: CPU, memory, storage, disks, temperatures · GitHub
- In the configuration, enter the NAS address, a username, and its password.
- Run Test Connection.
- Discovery tab: add the NAS, its volumes, and its disks.
Pro tip: UGOS blocks an address after a few incorrect passwords. The integration will never retry a password that has been rejected in a loop.
Honest small reservations
Beta, developed without a UGREEN NAS. The UGOS API is not documented: tests were done on responses reconstructed from open-source projects, notably ugnas-api and UgosBridge (MIT, thanks to their authors!).- To be verified on a real NAS: volume units, status codes, and what a non-administrator account can read.
If you have a NASync (DXP2800, DXP4800, DXP6800…), your feedback is welcome, even a simple « it works » with the model ![]()
Like the previous ones, developed with Claude Code
. Independent project, not affiliated with UGREEN.
