Hello everyone,
I’m introducing a new external integration for Gladys 5.1+: Verisure.
It allows you to control your Verisure alarm from Gladys and use it in scenes and the dashboard.
What it does
- Arm / disarm the alarm from Gladys (disarmed, partial day, partial night, total, and perimeter modes if your installation has them)
- Sensors: temperature and humidity
- Opening detectors, plugs, and connected locks (depending on the application, see below)
- « Cloud » badge on each device: you can immediately see if Verisure is no longer responding
In scenes
Triggers:
- The alarm mode has changed (keypad, badge, app, remote control)
- A door or window has been opened / closed
- The connection to Verisure is lost (useful to be notified)
Actions:
- Change the alarm mode (with « force » option if a door is left open)
- Read the real status of the alarm immediately
If the alarm refuses to arm (window open), the scene does not crash: it retrieves success = false and the reason, and you can act on it (send me a message, for example).
On the dashboard
A Verisure Alarm widget: current mode (green / orange / red), who changed it and when, open doors and windows, and buttons to arm.
The Disarm button is hidden by default: you need to activate it in the widget settings (be careful if your dashboard is visible to everyone).
Which Verisure application?
There are two different Verisure clouds, the integration manages both:
| Application | Country | What Gladys sees |
|---|---|---|
| My Verisure | France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, United Kingdom, Ireland, Latin America | Alarm (all modes), comfort sensors |
| Verisure | Nordic countries, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany… | Alarm, opening detectors, temperature/humidity, plugs, locks |
Installation
- Install the Verisure integration from the Gladys integrations store
- In Configuration: choose your application, your country, then your Verisure username and password
- Save then click on Test the connection
- On the first connection, Verisure sends an SMS code: click on Send a code, then enter it in Validate the code
- Add your devices from the Discovery tab
The code is only requested once: the session is kept, a restart does not request it again.

To know
Unofficial API: the integration uses the API of Verisure applications (taken from Home Assistant integrations). Verisure can change it without notice.
Refresh every 2 minutes by default: Verisure blocks accounts that query it too often, so I remain cautious.
The password is never written on disk or in logs.- Not yet managed: cameras, locks on My Verisure.
Testers wanted
The integration is covered by many automated tests, but it has not yet been tested on a real alarm. If you have a Verisure subscription, your feedback interests me a lot:
- your application (My Verisure or Verisure) and your country
- what works / what doesn’t work
- the logs of the integration (enable Detailed logs in the configuration; remember to hide address and phone number)
For a security issue, please do not post here: use the private report on GitHub (Security tab of the repository).
Thanks in advance, and happy home automation! ![]()
