Most popular Home Assistant integrations → candidates for Gladys external integrations

The afternoon batch is out, the six:

Not yet tested in a real Gladys installation: your feedback is welcome.

Actually, I can keep up as long as I tell Claude to take it step by step, while keeping an eye on the 5-hour quota and the weekly quota :+1:

I’m bothering you again but… For the button to migrate devices to appear, do you need to take action or is it planned for the current version?

I’m only going to test the external integration but I was wondering…

I’m taking on ten new integrations that are still open (verified today in @Will_71’s tracker, in this thread, in the store, in Gladys’ core, and on GitHub). This time, each one is based on an existing and maintained library or project:

  • go2rtc (P1 #F39 « WebRTC Camera », and #811): go2rtc server cameras become Gladys cameras, including those without RTSP (HomeKit like the Aqara G100, Tapo, DVRIP, Xiaomi, USB webcams), with a go2rtc provided as a sub-container for those who don’t have one. In addition to the Frigate connector: this is the go2rtc part of @Terdious’s project, which pierre-gilles proposed to take over at #27.
  • Ajax Systems (P2 #395, with SIA #310): Ajax alarm locally, without cloud, via the SIA DC-09 protocol that the control panel sends to a monitoring station: arming, alarms, and faults, as scene triggers.
  • Segway Navimow (P2 #411): perimeter wireless mowers, via Segway’s official API: status, battery, start, pause, and return to base.
  • eufy Clean (P2 #183): eufy robot vacuums, in addition to @cicoub13’s eufy Security integration (cameras, doorbells, locks).
  • Loxone (P3 #484): Loxone Miniserver (Gen 1 and 2) locally: lights, shutters, switches, sensors, and ambiances, in real-time.
  • Toyota / Lexus (P2 #316): Toyota and Lexus cars in Europe (MyToyota): fuel or battery, range, mileage, doors and locking, position.
  • Fujitsu (P3 #458): Fujitsu air conditioners and heat pumps from the Airstage and FGLair apps: operation, mode, setpoint, ventilation, and temperatures.
  • Philips Hue Sync Box (P2 #255): the HDMI Hue Play Sync Box via its local API: synchronization, mode, HDMI input, and brightness.
  • PETLIBRO (P2 #322): PETLIBRO feeders and fountains, in addition to PetKit and Sure Petcare.
  • Hilo (P2 #367): Hilo from Hydro-Québec: peak challenges, thermostats, switches, and consumption, for Quebec as pierre-gilles proposed at #60.

All on SDK 0.15, in French and English. No topic per integration: a single recap here when they are released, with the link to each repository. Testers welcome, especially for Ajax, Loxone, Navimow, and Hilo!

The ten integrations reserved for #224 are published:

  • go2rtc v0.1.1: Each stream from a go2rtc server becomes a Gladys camera (RTSP / ONVIF, HomeKit, Tapo, Xiaomi, DVR-IP, USB webcams…), with its image, an online/offline badge, and the triggers “Camera Offline” and “Camera Back Online”. Choose between the go2rtc that Gladys launches itself in a sub-container, or yours (including Frigate). Tested with a real go2rtc and video test patterns.
  • Ajax Systems v0.1.1: Gladys becomes the monitoring station for your Ajax control panel, locally via SIA DC-09, without the Ajax cloud and with AES encryption: arming status (armed, night, groups, disarmed), ongoing alarms (intrusion, fire, gas, water, panic…), faults (self-protection, batteries, mains, links), control panel supervision, and scene triggers. Read-only: SIA does not allow arming. Tested with real SIA frames, in TCP and UDP.
  • Segway Navimow v0.1.1: Perimeter-free robotic mowers, via the Navimow cloud with a “Connect” button: status, battery, activity, errors, mowing progress and area in real-time, mow/pause and return to station, triggers “Mowing Finished”, “Error”, and “Back to Station”, and a widget.
  • eufy Clean v0.1.1: eufy robotic vacuum cleaners (RoboVac, eufy Clean) in real-time via the eufy cloud: status, battery, clean/pause, return to base, cleaning type, suction power, brush, filter, and mop wear, errors, with the triggers “Cleaning Finished” and “Robot Error”. In addition to eufy Security by @cicoub13, without modifying it. Gladys 5.2 minimum.
  • Loxone Miniserver v0.1.1: Your Miniserver (Gen 1 or Gen 2) locally, with a dedicated user: switches, dimmers, lighting controllers with their scenes and circuits, blinds and curtains, gates, windows, room regulators (temperature, setpoint, mode), energy meters and presence detectors, in real-time.
  • Toyota / Lexus v0.1.1: Toyota and Lexus cars in Europe (MyToyota): fuel and battery, ranges, charging and plugging of plug-in hybrids and electric vehicles, mileage, locking, doors, trunk, hood and windows, warning lights, last trip and parking position as an option, with the trigger “Trip Finished”. Read-only, and never waking the car.
  • Fujitsu Airstage & FGLair v0.1.1: Fujitsu air-to-air air conditioners and heat pumps: operation, mode, setpoint, ventilation, louver positions and sweep, economy, power, silent, and anti-freeze 10°C modes, indoor and outdoor temperatures, error code. Locally via the Airstage Wi-Fi adapter when available, otherwise via the Airstage or FGLair clouds.
  • Philips Hue Sync Box v0.1.1: The Hue Play HDMI Sync Box locally, without an account, registered via the box button: on/standby, light sync, mode (video, music, game), intensity, brightness, HDMI input and entertainment zone, with scene triggers and actions.
  • PETLIBRO v0.1.1: Feeders (Granary, Air, One RFID, Space: kibble, daily meal, schedule, dehydrator, battery, distribution via a button or a scene; Polar in read-only) and Dockstream fountains (water, pump, filter, and cleaning), with the triggers “Meal Distributed” and “PETLIBRO Alert”. Like PetKit, a connection from Gladys disconnects the app: the documentation explains how to share devices with a second account.
  • Hilo v0.1.1: Your Hilo home from Hydro-Québec in real-time: challenges (announcement, preheating, reduction, recovery, rewards) as sensors and scene triggers, with an adjustable anticipation phase, and thermostats, outlets, switches, dimmers, water heater controllers, and meter with their power. In addition to the Hydro-Québec integration.

All require Gladys 5.1 minimum (5.2 for eufy Clean). They will arrive in the store at the next indexer run, “Install from GitHub” already works with the link of each repository. None have yet run with a real account or a real device: your feedback is welcome in the GitHub issues, especially for Ajax, Loxone, Navimow, and Hilo.

I took AccuWeather and I’m making one for FFHandball

I can’t keep up anymore… you must have been bored before the external integrations, right?

:joy:

By installing Claude Desktop, it can control my GitHub and post on the forum, so it’s become simple! I told it « keep developing day and night, as soon as you have tokens » :joy:

Well, I check its choices a bit and guide the development, but it takes little time in comparison.

I made the mistake last night of trying to keep up, I started 8 integrations for the night and it still hasn’t finished. I’ve been stuck 4 times already. Now, I have to wait 23 hours for it to restart.
I had asked him to do them one by one, but he told me « Don’t worry, I’m launching 8 agents in parallel, it’s faster. »
No kidding, it’s faster to eat tokens but not to get the integrations out

:rofl::joy: too strong, Glaude :face_holding_back_tears:

I’m on Tineco

I take Foscam and Flume

I take Bureau of Meteorology (BoM) and EPEX Spot

And one last for today: August / Yale

I’m taking WeatherFlow Tempest

Four of the fifteen integrations reserved for issue #226 are published. They arrive at the store on the next indexer pass, and “Install from GitHub” already works with the link to each repository.
