Most popular Home Assistant integrations → candidates for Gladys external integrations

I just started developing for Xiomi TV

I’m taking on fifteen new integrations still available (verified today in @Will_71’s tracker, in this thread, in the store, in Gladys’ core, and on GitHub). None are announced or reserved by anyone else; if I’m wrong, let me know and I’ll remove it. Each is based on an existing and maintained library, without GPL:

Heating, Energy, and Vehicles

  • Edilkamin (P3): Edilkamin pellet stoves: status, temperature, power, setpoint. Remote ignition disabled by default.
  • MG iSMART (P3): MG cars: battery, range, charging, locking, position, climate control. Unlocking disabled by default.
  • TechnoVE (P4): TechnoVE charging stations locally.

Security

  • Google Nest Protect (P3): smoke, carbon monoxide, and battery of Nest Protect detectors, as scene triggers (read-only).
  • Risco (P3): Risco alarms locally or via the cloud: partitions, zones, arming. Disarming disabled by default.
  • Comelit SimpleHome / Vedo (P4): lights, shutters, outlets, and Comelit alarm locally. Disarming and door opening disabled by default.

Home

  • Shark IQ (P3): Shark robot vacuums.
  • Whirlpool (P3): Whirlpool washing machines, dryers, ovens, and air conditioners: status and cycle (oven read-only).
  • Devialet (P3): Phantom speakers locally: on/off, volume, source.
  • Wiser by Feller (P3): Feller switches, dimmers, shutters, and scenes locally, for our Swiss friends.
  • Velbus (P3): Velbus relays, dimmers, shutters, and thermostats via the network gateway.

Health, Location, and Network

  • FreeStyle Libre (LibreLinkUp) (P3): blood glucose, trend, and measurement age, read-only, never in logs.
  • Invoxia (P4): Invoxia GPS trackers: position, battery, movement.
  • NextDNS (P3): queries, blocks, and filters from your NextDNS profile. Disable parental controls disabled by default.
  • Swiss Hydrological Data (P3): flow, level, and temperature of Swiss rivers and lakes (open data, no account required).

All on SDK 0.15, in French and English. No topic per integration: they will be released in groups of five, with a recap here each time and the link to each repository. Testers welcome, especially for Edilkamin, MG, Risco, and Nest Protect!

The first five of the batch reserved for #262 are published. They arrive at the store on the next indexer pass, and “Install from GitHub” already works with the link of each repository.

Edilkamin v0.1.1 : GitHub - LM1LC3N7/gladys-edilkamin: Gladys Assistant external integration for Edilkamin pellet stoves. Unofficial, not affiliated with Edilkamin. · GitHub
Edilkamin pellet stoves « The Mind »: on/off, temperatures, setpoint, power P1 to P5, ventilation, pellet reserve, alarms as triggers. Remote ignition, setpoint, and power remain disabled until you authorize them; no switch, so no “all on” or voice assistant can turn on the stove. Shutdown is always allowed and takes priority. Ported from edilkamin.py (MIT). Limitation: you need to enter the MAC address of each stove.

MG iSMART v0.1.1 : GitHub - LM1LC3N7/gladys-mg-ismart: Gladys Assistant external integration for MG cars (SAIC iSMART): battery, range, charging, lock. Unofficial, not affiliated with MG or SAIC. · GitHub
MG cars (MG4, ZS EV…): battery, range, charging, mileage, locking, doors, position, air conditioning. Each command (lock, unlock, trunk, air conditioning, charging) has its option, disabled by default. Each reading wakes up the car: reading every 3 hours by default and limited wake-ups, to preserve the 12 V battery. Ported from saic-ismart-client-ng (MIT). Limitation: MG only accepts one session, use a secondary account.

Google Nest Protect v0.1.1 : GitHub - LM1LC3N7/gladys-nest-protect: Gladys Assistant external integration for Google Nest Protect smoke and CO alarms (read-only). Unofficial, not affiliated with Google. · GitHub
Smoke, CO, battery, and self-test of Nest Protect detectors, almost in real-time, read-only, with triggers filterable by level (test, warning, emergency). Ported from ha-nest-protect (MIT). Limitations: unofficial API with a somewhat fragile Google cookie connection, and it’s not a certified alarm system.

Risco v0.1.1 : GitHub - LM1LC3N7/gladys-risco: Gladys Assistant external integration for Risco alarm panels (local or cloud). Unofficial, not affiliated with Risco. · GitHub
Risco control panels (LightSYS, Agility, WiComm) locally: partitions, zones, arming, alarm/armed/disarmed triggers. Arming is allowed; disarming and bypassing a zone remain disabled until you authorize them. Ported from pyrisco (MIT). Limitation: the documentation explains why to change the default code 5678.

Invoxia v0.1.1 : GitHub - LM1LC3N7/gladys-invoxia: Gladys Assistant external integration for Invoxia GPS trackers. Unofficial, not affiliated with Invoxia. · GitHub
Invoxia GPS trackers: position, accuracy, battery, in motion, and a trigger “silent for X hours”. Ported from gps-tracker (MIT). Limitation: the API is not officially open to individuals.

By the way, PhoneTrack v0.1.1, which I added to #260: GitHub - LM1LC3N7/gladys-phonetrack: Gladys Assistant external integration for PhoneTrack (Nextcloud): phone positions, battery, last seen and zone triggers. Unofficial, not affiliated with PhoneTrack or Nextcloud. · GitHub
Phones tracked by the Nextcloud PhoneTrack app, via a read-only share link: position, battery, accuracy, speed, last seen, and a trigger “silent for X minutes”. Delays are long after a refusal, to avoid triggering Nextcloud’s anti-brute-force.

Neither PhoneTrack nor Invoxia can yet place a user on Gladys’s map: I proposed the core evolution in GladysAssistant/Gladys#3224.

None of them have yet run with a real account or a real device: your feedback is welcome in the GitHub issues.
