For clarification in Airtable:
For the 2, I would say that it is used for sorting on the integration page.
For example, if you are looking for Philips Hue, there are IKEA items referenced. (I have already made the modification to the file)
For the 3, select the first column of the row. Normally, the text turns blue. Then you click on it and a pop-up appears with all the information including the creator and the changes made.

I noticed there are 2 lists, one in FR and one in EN.
Should the devices be put in both lists?
Because there are quite a few missing from the EN list.
The tags are not currently used. The idea was to have a way to classify devices in different ways, both by technology and by device type. However, this is not currently used in the code.
The documentation ID corresponds to the « slug » title of the integration documentation used by the device.
It is used for two things:
To redirect to the documentation when you click on the doc button
To filter by technology on the left filter view:

However, you should not just copy and paste the line for the EN page:

If you want to test the import on your side, it’s quite simple (I put the procedure):
Locally, after cloning/installing the site repo (GitHub - GladysAssistant/v4-website: Gladys Assistant website · GitHub)
Add a .env file with the following content:
AIRTABLE_API_KEY=
(Add an Airtable API key to be found in your user settings)
Then, you need to run:
npm run load-integrations
And it will automatically import the integrations!
Then you launch the site.
In EN:
npm start
In FR:
npm run start-fr

I started modifying the first lines of Airtable so that we directly have the product name with its number (e.g.: Sonoff S26R2ZB), to facilitate searches on the internet (am I on the wrong track?). But indeed, there is not enough space to detail the functions of some devices in the next column. We should create a link like « Buy » or « Doc », I’m thinking of « Description » where we could detail all the functions.
It must be readable above all, that’s the most important thing
Otherwise, we can add an « afficher plus » (« show more ») button to « expand » the description if it is too long, what do you think?
This would allow us to put a longer text!

I was imagining this on the integration page, that’s why I was talking about a Description button, we don’t overload the window and by clicking on Description we display the details
Why not, after all, it still seems good to have a short description of each device as it is currently, even in list view

A quick follow-up on this topic — who would be interested in working on it?
For now we’re at 67 integrations on the French page, and 55 in English.
I’m convinced that the current compatibility list is in the hundreds of devices, even thousands thanks to Zigbee2mqtt in particular. It’s a shame that the site’s « Integrations » page is so poor!
