Many of you want to help on the project but don’t have the skills to develop an end-to-end integration.
For the past 2 years, I’ve been using AI in my daily work to develop, but since Claude Opus 4.5, I think we’ve reached a real milestone: AI can now develop complete features, end-to-end, without the developer writing a single line
I show you all this in my latest YouTube video on the channel:
Share it around to show the progress of AI
The final PR is here:
If you have comments, you can put them under the YouTube video to help the YouTube algorithm, I’ll reply quickly!
I reread all the code, and I really advise everyone who uses AI to do the same. Just because AI produced something doesn’t mean you should blindly accept the code — even if it works, there are sometimes huge blunders
Sure, it’s less fun to do PR reviews than to develop like we used to, but it still saves quite a bit of time
That’s really impressive but you can see that the developer’s job is shifting to tackle « pre-coding » tasks with all the upstream research, and to « reviewing » for code verification.
For that latter part you do need to know what you’re doing because personally I wouldn’t be able to spot/understand what’s wrong just by looking at the code.
Seeing this, I think to myself:
hop, we save the matterbridge config in Gladys Plus
once we’ve activated Matterbridge, we have another tab for automatically associating Matterbridge to the Matter integration without going through Matterbridge (if it’s activated, otherwise we activate it first )
a big post on luligu to say that his dev is fully implemented in Gladys
we make it into the top 10 Matterbridge integrators!
