What you’re describing is called the « prompt Â», and I’ve already written a special one for Gladys — it’s the secret sauce of this integration :wink:

So no need to say anything, it’s already done and it was quite a bit of work!

@VonOx for requests like this, I already have ideas, but you’d have to check a box like « I agree to share the values of my devices with OpenAI Â» :smiley:

But basically the idea is that I would provide GPT-3 with a representation of your home and the AI could pick whatever it wants to craft the response!

100% agree, it must remain at the user’s request and it must be very clear what is being shared.

In the current integration, nothing is shared except the message typed into the bar :slight_smile:

For once, I subscribed to Gladys Plus (yes it’s the promo code SMART2023 with an annual payment so I think about it now and then I’ll forget about it for the year! :-)) Even if I won’t use the remote access (for now) nor Gladys that much because I’m still missing features that I have with Jeedom, but there are already quite a few interesting features — well, you have to support the project! :wink: And encourage Pierre-Gilles! :rofl: As mentioned, it now only lacks speech and voice recognition (Kalliope GitHub - kalliope-project/kalliope: Kalliope is a framework that will help you to create your own personal assistant.)!!! Get to work! :innocent:

exact and doesn’t that go a bit further:

  • that the user checks a box to say they agree to share, yes of course
  • but what about sending personal data to a computer system not hosted in France/Europe. If a user requests the application of the GDPR (yes I’m playing devil’s advocate, but these are questions better asked beforehand) 
 and therefore requests all the personal data held by glady

I’ve been testing ChatGPT for a few weeks now, and as cool as it is, it also freaks me out a bit
 especially with the prospect of putting people out of work (including IT workers), a few more years training it
 and bam!!

I’m against Alexa and co., I welcome the initiative to integrate this component into Gladys
 it must be fun to develop
 but for what purpose? Yeah, I don’t see how it’s going to be useful to me.
