This story smells good!! ![]()
I saw your video on YouTube, impressive ![]()
Indeed, like you, I had the same thought. As a developer in real life, I wonder when Iâm going to jump ![]()
It has really accelerated in recent months, we are bombarded all the time with AI now⊠I feel like I hear AI in every sentence, in every request..
Being in the banking/insurance sector, we are a bit spared because the models made available are really crappy and are not exposed to the internet, but they will crack to be competitive, Iâm convinced
Soon we will see job offers âPrompt Engineerâ instead of developer ![]()
Iâm impressed too! Now in the morning when I go to do my sports, I start Claude Code at 7 a.m. so that when I come back, it has been working for an hour ![]()
Iâm putting the video here for those who havenât seen it!
Small question about AI.
Iâm used to using Gemini in Antigravity so I can see its limits and cost.
I find Sonnet 4.6 very powerful (and Iâm not talking about Opus!) but Iâm wondering about the price.
Do you have any idea of the cost per million tokens for Claudeâs tools?
You have the input/output prices per million tokens here Tarifs | Claude
But the most interesting option is to take a subscription (for example, at âŹ20/month)
Hello everyone!
I will be on vacation next week, but Claude will continue to work ![]()
This is the perfect opportunity to test the Matterbridge plugin factory: if you have ideas for integrations missing in Gladys that are good candidates, open a ticket here:
A good candidate is a simple integration, which goes through a documented API, and which has features available in Matter.
Integrations for cameras, music, etc. are not currently handled by Matter, so not handled by Matterbridge.
For now, the plugins are free and I cover the tokens as long as we are in the testing phase. If the results are up to par, I will ask for a small contribution per plugin afterwards.
A quick form to fill out when creating the ticket:
A few tips to maximize the quality of the result:
Donât hesitate, itâs the right time to test!
Too cool ![]()
Thanks @pierre-gilles, I will submit a request this evening to manage a Daikin air conditioning unit via the cloud (Onecta)
Unfortunately, mine is only compatible via the cloud:

Itâs done
:
However, the official documentation is only accessible via an account at the following URL, so I couldnât add it:
Letâs see how it goes and already proposing the same thing as melcloud would be perfect ![]()
But in the future, we should be able to integrate the fan speed, horizontal and vertical airflow direction ![]()
@prohand I donât know if youâve seen, but Claude has worked and developed your plugin for you ![]()
Now you need to test it! (I show how here) If you have feedback, put it in a single comment on the GitHub ticket, being as precise as possible so that Claude can fix it!
I hope the work done is relevant!
Yes Iâve seen thanks ![]()
Iâll try to do a test tonight to see ![]()
I added a comment, let me know if itâs understandable enough for the AI ![]()
I modified my comment to help him understand the issue and to use the mobile app authentication method as presented here:
https://www.npmjs.com/package/@mp-consulting/homebridge-daikin-cloud
And to no longer rely on the home assistant integration but rather on the homebridge one, which is the closest to matterbridge. Because I think he only based it on the home assistant plugin ![]()
I also made a 3-point ranking for him of the different points he needs to look at
If you see any elements to modify in my comment, donât hesitate to tell me so I can modify it before launching a fix via the AI ![]()
A quick update on the plugin factoryâs progress!
Iâll be on vacation next week, but the plugin factory doesnât take vacations and will be up & running
Iâm counting on you to take advantage of it!
@prohand, Iâve given you the « triage » role on the repo, so if the factory « gets stuck » in my absence, you should have the rights to manage issues, delete comments/tags.
In short, the factory takes tickets that have « ready-for-testing » + the last comment by a human to fix, and for development, plugins that donât have « in-progress », « ready-for-testing », « completed », or « needs-info ».
In parallel, I conducted an analysis of interesting integrations to develop for Matterbridge:
I retrieved the list of all Home Assistant integrations
I used AI to filter those that would be feasible on Matterbridge
I cross-referenced with requests on the Gladys forum
I cross-referenced with survey responses
This gives a good overview of the priorities ![]()
In blue: integrations already available in Matterbridge
In yellow: those already requested and in development
The rest is to be done, and if the plugin factory is a success, we can run the AI on these plugins to widen the gap with HA in terms of integrations!
In any case, I think Matter is really the future and Matterbridge will allow us to catch up in terms of compatibility, itâs quite amazing!!
Thanks for adding the rights, but I added a comment and couldnât modify the tag, unless Iâm not looking in the right place ![]()
For information, the Daikin plugin is progressing very well ![]()
Authentication with the same login/password works and my air conditioning is reporting without any issues (it would be good to have other testers to validate that the authentication bug is indeed fixed as I couldnât reproduce it on my side):
Thanks to the AI setup by @pierre-gilles, I was also able to start and turn off my air conditioning without any issues directly from Gladys ![]()
He fixed a bug related to this feature thanks to a single prompt on Github ![]()
([PLUGIN REQUEST] Daikin_Onecta · Issue #8 · GladysAssistant/matterbridge-ai-plugin-factory · GitHub)
Thereâs still a lot of work to be able to do what we can with the homebridge application in Matterbridge and Gladys (https://www.npmjs.com/package/@mp-consulting/homebridge-daikin-cloud), but the subject is progressing well ![]()
I will try to find some time next week (busy weekend on my side
) to improve the integration of the Daikin air conditioning in matter as well as in Gladys ![]()
In any case, we are on the right track and the development of a matterbridge plugin thanks to AI is working wonderfully ![]()
Incredible, the Yeelight plugin was developed in one go, without any human in the loop! ![]()
It makes me so eager to try⊠But I donât have a plugin to develop for my own use⊠Frustration! ![]()
