I’m new to this forum, and as I post a few messages I take the opportunity to introduce myself a bit ^^
32 years old, father for 3 weeks (it seems to be trendy on this forum apparently lol), I started home automation a few years ago on a RPi, a webcam and OpenCV to detect people in front of my door.
I have constantly sought to be as frugal as possible, no gadget home automation and no proprietary box at home, just the mini pc.
Now I am more attracted to turnkey solutions, hence Gladys, which is also a « small » French solution, and I like to give a hand to this kind of initiative 
I have dev skills, but rather low level, and I have (a lot) developed games on Casio calculators for a few years, I liked having hardware constraints of a small processor and a small black and white screen, with a super community around. I have a bit the impression of finding that here 
Otherwise, I will probably switch to Gladys+ when I manage to do without the Aqara alarm system to remake it in Gladys, because I will have remote access at that point, it will be my project by the end of the year.
