I’m thrilled to join the Gladys community!
I’m coming from Home Assistant, which I’ve used for some time. It’s a very comprehensive solution, but I realized I didn’t have enough time to fully exploit its potential. So, I decided to take the step towards Gladys, which I appreciate for its simplicity, stability, and philosophy.
A big congratulations to the development team for the work done. The installation went very well, and I can’t wait to discover all the possibilities that Gladys offers.
My goal is to develop a connected home that is both reliable and useful in daily life. I’m particularly interested in energy management, video surveillance, and advanced automation.
I have 4kW of bifacial solar panels with Hoymiles microinverters, a Zendure battery, a Shelly 3PM energy meter, and energy management during peak and off-peak hours and days while the solar system is producing.
The house is protected with a Hikvision wired alarm system.
For the home automation part, I have a lot of Shelly Gen3 and Gen4 devices in Wi-Fi, Matter, and Zigbee.
I’m looking forward to exchanging with you, learning from your experiences, and, in turn, sharing mine.
