I’m Stéphane, 45 years old and passionate about IT like everyone here no doubt ^^
I’ve been into home automation for about ten years (Domoticz, then Jeedom and I’m just switching to Gladys).
Gladys is installed via Docker on an Unraid server. It has a Z-Wave dongle and an RFXCOM.
control of 8 lamps via Tasmota over MQTT
presence management for 4 users
opening sensors (intrusion)
control of shutters (5 shutters in the living area, 3 bedroom shutters and 2 veranda shutters
2 garage doors
heating
For now my transition is going pretty well, I still need to integrate my RFXCOM via Node-RED but here I’m stuck! You’ll probably find me in a section of the forum asking for help about this
In any case, I’m very satisfied with Gladys, the clean dashboards that are simple to set up, the ease of use — that’s what I was looking for. I might be missing a few integrations (RFXCOM for example and Z-Wave), but I hope Node-RED will allow me to interface what I’m missing.
