Hello everyone,
First and foremost passionate about Arduinos and 3D printing, I dipped a (small) toe into home automation to integrate all of that about 6 years ago.
I started with node-red and mosquitto on an Rpi-w, fairly quickly replaced by an Rpi2b, then an Rpi3b with Domoticz, which fully satisfied me for more than 3 years.
I then migrated to Jeedom on an Rpi4 (still using node-red and mosquitto), without major issues, much helped by the jmqtt plugin.
Because the latest Jeedom updates only brought me problems, I decided to try Gladys, which pleasantly surprised me with its ease of use and its fast, pleasant interface.
On the hardware side, I currently have a few ESPs running tasmotta and openmqtt, and about ten ESPs with their own firmware.
I also use zigbee2mqtt to control a few bulbs.
Interactions and automations are still handled by the fabulous node-red.
See you soon on the forum
