Energy monitoring: Adding a new contract

@pierre-gilles and another PR! I had, however, followed the same rule as @mutmut « electricite-de-strasbourg » but I discovered that he had also renamed his folders to make them compliant.

Thanks @jparbel, that’s good for me now! I merged, it’s live on Gladys

Yes definitely, can you take care of a PR for the README?

I think I’ll update the tests to validate these points as well

I’ll work on that, it will let me get familiar with GitHub and PRs without making mistakes

Hello @mutmut,

I’m in the same situation as you with és. Since the development of the tracking, I haven’t been able to configure it. I don’t know if the prioritization list is correct and how to modify it if necessary. Here’s what I have:

Do I need a virtual head-of-the-line device?

If you could take a look, I’d be interested in your comments. Thanks to you

Hi @Jluc,

From what I can see, you have a Tic Lixee (your Niv0 in zigbee2mqtt) or something equivalent in zigbee.
And your other devices Frigo and prise SdB are at Niv1, their consumption at Niv2, and the cost at Niv3 — EVERYTHING IS GOOD!

However, I don’t quite understand the other 4 Niv1 levels that appear and that aren’t correct in my opinion.
Do you need this electric meter MQTT?
If not, you can delete it directly.

In my case, I don’t have a Lixee-type device in zigbee, so I had to create an MQTT electric meter, and all my devices are under this meter.
But if I had a Lixee, I wouldn’t have created anything.
Here’s a preview of my « tree »:

Borne VE is an MQTT device with which I retrieve information sent by HA.
Clim mobile is a zigbee plug (and I have others).
Téléinformation BBRXXXX are MQTT devices subscribed to a linky2mqtt docker to retrieve information from my ES Tempo subscription.
The only devices I don’t track are my zwave plugs (because not yet developed).

In principle, you have a main meter: either a zigbee Lixee or an MQTT meter.
You have energy consumed devices for which you choose your main meter as the parent.
You don’t need to do anything else, and especially don’t mess with the 30mn Consumption or 30mn Costs because it’s automatic in the hierarchy.

Hi @mutmut,

Thanks for your feedback. I don’t think I have an MQTT meter and I don’t know how to remove it.

The displayed consumptions are incorrect and no cost is available. I imported the és items but no amount is displayed

Hi @Jluc,

I get the feeling you’re a bit stuck on this topic. If you’d like, we can set up a screen-sharing call and look at it together to resolve the issue.

I’m available this Friday, morning or afternoon depending on what suits you, or Monday rather in the morning.

Would that work for you?

Hi @pierre-gilles,

That’s a good idea. I’ll be available this Friday morning at a time that suits you.

I sent you an email invitation for Friday morning at 10:00 a.m.

Don’t forget to test your screen sharing and microphone before the call.

See you tomorrow!

Great, thank you.

See you tomorrow

@pierre-gilles

Your intervention unblocked the situation for me, and everything is working perfectly now. A huge thank you to you

Excellent, very happy to hear it!!

Don’t hesitate if you have any other issues.

@pierre-gilles what was the issue in the end?

There were just a few confusions about which device actually corresponded to the meter to display. We removed the unused MQTT virtual device, reconfigured the dashboard, and then restarted the calculations from the beginning
