Hello everyone
Looking for a home automation solution in line with my limited knowledge in this field, I have been using Gladys for some time (including YouTube videos…)
I have little equipment: a few temperature probes, a few switches and a camera. I managed to integrate the USB camera, but not my RFlink gateway. There are a few tutorials, including the one on the RFlink test docker image. Everything is well installed but no information from RFlink comes back to Gladys…
Thanks for a helping hand, especially with simple explanations!!!
Hello,
Can anyone help me?
Hello @Bruno, sorry I’ve been quite busy and left the module aside.
I have updated the docker image (to align with the latest version of Galdys 4.7.3).
Can you try again?
Otherwise, I would need a bit more information:
- Do you confirm that your RFLink gateway is well connected (by choosing the correct USB port)?
- What do you see when you go to integration=>rflink=>parameter debug part, what do you see in the RFLink debug console? (last message received)
- Are your sensors close enough to the gateway?
I’m coming back to the RFXCOM issue ![]()
I don’t understand why and how it’s different from RFLINK since in all home automation solutions they are together.
So if I help you by reporting back everything you want to test, do you think you could do something?
I just restarted a Docker instance to be sure it doesn’t work.
So the USB is detected:
But no info in the debug:
Good evening, is there a tutorial somewhere to integrate Rink into Gladys? I couldn’t find anything on my own.
It’s normal, nothing official! It’s a development in progress…
You need to use the development image — see the message: Lancer une image Gladys de test? - #7 par pierre-gilles
Thank you for your response.
hello @elfedagger
you can install it via Node-RED
Hi @syper ,
I don’t really know if it’s actually very different, I have no way to test and to know what types of messages RFXCom sends back.
In the debug section, you can try sending messages to your devices and see the response:
For RFLink here are the types of messages that are handled.
Otherwise you can try with RFLink’s debug tool (or see if you have an equivalent) but I doubt it will work.
@elfedagger For the moment I’m keeping the image to myself and it’s regularly synced to the latest official release. At my place I have MiLight devices, Chacon plugs and a motion sensor that still works with RFLink, so I use it regularly. However, to be officially integrated into Gladys I still have all the reviewers’ remarks to address, and I have less time for that.
