Access gladys ios 9.3.5

Hello!

I want to recycle an iPad 2 running iOS 9.3.5, but I can’t access the login page.
In Safari, the page is blank. In Chrome, I see the icon and the word « gladys » in the tab, but the page is empty.
I specify that it works on my iPhone, my Android tablet, and my PC.
I have cleared the browser cache, but the result is the same.
As for updates, I’m up to date, but the iOS version prevents me from accessing the latest update.
Is there another way to do this?

Thanks in advance.

Can you try testing with a browser like Chrome or Firefox?

I suspect the issue might be due to your outdated web browser.

If that’s the case, we’ll need to find a solution to install a more recent browser on the tablet, that’s the only option I see

I think so, maybe a jailbreak… at worst

Yes install Chrome you will be able to fully exploit the Gladys PWA.

Do you know which version of Safari is installed on the iPad?

Good evening
Safari version 9.3. On iOS, the iOS version corresponds to the Safari version

Okay, I didn’t know, sorry (I don’t have any iDevice)

Hello @chnuss! I think the browser is indeed too old and no longer supported…

Unfortunately, it won’t change anything, on iOS there are no alternative browsers, Apple does not allow apps to implement a different web engine than Safari.

There are « Chrome/Firefox » apps on the store but they are just wrappers around Safari (only the design is different, but the same JS engine), it’s quite limited.

Indeed, via a jailbreak it might be an idea, I don’t see any other solutions!

Thanks for the feedback.
