Improving navigation in external integrations (a topic to bring them all together)

The page listing external integrations is about to reach a thousand :+1:. The improvement in display time that Pierre-Gilles announced here is good news, but I’ve also seen several requests to improve the filtering of external integrations.

I want to try to gather them all in this topic. If I’ve missed any, let me know in the thread, and I’ll edit this first post as I go to make it complete.

  • Ability to filter by category: Heating, Lighting, Energy, etc. (ok, that’s already in place)
  • Ability to filter by type: Native/Community and Cloud/Local/GladysPlus (ok, that exists)
  • Ability to filter already installed integrations (ok, done) or not installed (not possible today)
  • Ability to filter integrations by their author (because if I liked one of their integrations, I want to know what else they’ve done; Well, it won’t filter much if we choose guim31  )
  • Ability to filter integrations by creation date (currently, there’s the ‹ New › filter, but I’m not sure what duration that represents). There could be a few levels: today, this week, this month… To be defined…
  • Ability to filter integrations by the country in which they are operational
  • Ability to filter integrations according to a status « Not yet tested / Partially tested / Tested and reliable » that the author would define and modify progressively (I know this status doesn’t exist yet, but it would be a relevant sort given the number of extensions developed ‹ blindly ›)
  • Ability to filter by the minimum version of Gladys required (But I’m not sure if that’s really useful, because I don’t see much reason not to update Gladys as we go along…)

And the interface should allow combining all these filters together: what are the integrations in the Energy category, developed by guim31, that I haven’t installed yet, that came out this week, that work locally, that have been partially or fully tested, and that work in France?

What do you think?
