Device can't be removed (disappeared) from the dashboard

Hello!
I have a small issue.
I reassigned a ZigBee plug to another room (from the ‹ Home › room - where I put everything that is waiting or Fake devices - to the ‹ bathroom › room).
But I can’t remove it from the Home room on the dashboard!
I’m talking about the ‹ dryer › plug

you need to go back into Integration, reassign it to the room Maison and save, go back to the dashboard so you can delete it, then go back into Integration to assign it to the room you want and then you can go back to the dashboard to place it where you want.
Tell me if that’s not clear enough — in any case I recreated what you did, did the steps and it works!
But it’s not right, there should be a warning and an option to assign it to the correct board!
I think it’s an unhandled case rather than a bug…

I’m wondering if there might be a regression because this isn’t the first time I’ve done this (changing a device’s room) and I don’t recall having had the problem. However, I’ve just been confronted with it again…

Thanks for the feedback! The widget « Room Devices » will soon be removed in favor of the « Devices » widget (newer, and with more possibilities), so I don’t think there will be any fixes between the two.

Gladys will automatically migrate existing widgets.

Is there any reason you’re still using that one for your new dashboards?

I haven’t taken the time to change the current widgets.
Otherwise, given the growing number of devices, the room’s devices widget is easier because it only shows, obviously, certain devices…
I’m just waiting for the automatic migration to reorganize all the dashboards :innocent:

We could always add a filter to the other widget for quicker selection :slight_smile: But I think the era of the strictly « single-room » widget is over, it doesn’t really make sense, everyone might want to add whatever they want
