[BETA] App Android

question con,
when you do an update, do you need to uninstall the app and reinstall it?

Normally it’s not necessary!
Besides, if you do that you lose your config every time ^^

of course, that’s why I asked

You shouldn’t need to uninstall it, why is that the case?

Hi @Pandurini
Can you try seeing what Gladys returns with Postman?

Yes, that’s right!
No, leave 8080 it will be fine ^^

Are you seeing any devices when you go to the devices view? Because if nothing is displayed in that view, Gladys won’t return anything either!

The rooms are returned in the same response as the deviceType in the Dashboard view.

So if no devices are assigned to any room, Gladys won’t return anything ^^

And therefore you won’t have anything in the app either!

Can you show me the devices view of Gladys?

Oh yes indeed if they are not assigned to any room you won’t see anything in the app ^^

After that if you want to try the app nothing stops you from creating a service that controls a light (even virtual) and by assigning it to a room you will see it appear in the app and you will be able to control it from your mobile

v0.3 installed on Huawei Nexus 6P running Android 8 Oreo, everything seems to work perfectly.

@LepetitGeek after looking into it a bit, I’d tend to confirm that we write « aucune donnée » rather than « aucune données ». But hey, we’re getting into the details here  In any case, great work.

@scoob79 I’d say you picked the wrong topic.

I confirm  no S

Thanks for your feedback @p6ril!
It will be fixed in the next update ^^

@C4rlit0 The brain functions are on the way, I started this afternoon so it shouldn’t take long but I still need to retrieve the corresponding requests

Good !!

Oh, I have some good news (well, mostly for me)
I fixed my error 6 issue…
I just can’t read xD I put 198.168.0.16 as the local address… instead of 192…

Wow, I also missed your video!
The fools :joy:

It’s great that you got through it!

It was even 196.168 that you had put

I might have ^^ I see that IP so often… I’m so distracted!

Hi @rafi59

Can you send us a screenshot of your app settings?

In principle, you can leave port 8080, HTTP still works, I don’t think @LepetitGeek has handled HTTPS on the local side

Yes, that’s correct!
Locally, the app doesn’t use HTTPS as it’s unnecessary, so leave port 8080 as is
