Aqara W100 sensor/thermostat — temperature and humidity sensor Zigbee Matter Thread

Hi @bjm
I just saw that the latest 2.6.3 version of Z2M has added additional features for the W100:

Worth testing

Hi @bjm,

Thanks for this very comprehensive tutorial!
There is one step I don’t understand in the video when defining the scenes. Where do you define “ref-temperature-sb-chambre-6”?

Thanks!

It’s a virtual device created in Integrations > MQTT

Great! Thanks for your quick reply.

Thanks @bjm! Great tutorial!

I was wondering now if it would be possible to change the setpoint value from the Gladys dashboard while updating the value shown on the thermostat?

I tried adding the virtual device as a trigger but I apparently can’t interact with the + and - buttons.

Well, I wasn’t sure anymore whether it was working.

It wasn’t working and it’s true that I had told myself I needed to look into it.

I found a workaround (the simplest in my opinion)

I created a virtual button Virtual pushbutton Click Minus

I added it as a trigger in the scene Temperature Counter MINUS Ch6

I added the virtual pushbutton to the dashboard under the virtual thermostat

And it works, now I just have to do the same for the Click Plus.

Well, I no longer knew whether it was working.

And it works; all that’s left is to do the same for the Click Plus.

I could also have created a virtual button that would simply have confirmed the changes made with the thermostat’s + and - buttons, then injected the value into the W100, but that would have required an additional scene.
