Hello everyone,
I successfully connected an Echo Dot to Gladysplus via the Alexa app. I’d like to connect another Echo Dot to a different Gladysplus instance in another house (on the same Alexa app). Because the Alexa app is already connected to Gladysplus, I can’t enter the information for the second Gladysplus. Do you have any idea how to connect this second Gladysplus?

I don’t know how the Alexa app works, but shouldn’t you create another Alexa account?

Hi @Riquet0077! That’s a good question — I checked the Amazon app, and indeed it doesn’t seem possible to connect the same skill twice with two different accounts.
Why would you need to have two accounts?

I have a Gladys in my home in Belgium and I installed a second one in another residence in the Gard. Since I sometimes rent it out, I want them to be independent.
In the meantime I’ve continued thinking and I think I’m going to link the Echo Dots to two different Alexa accounts. That will at least let me set them up locally, but it will limit the control options via the phone app.
If you have any other solutions/alternative ideas I’m open to them.

Indeed, in your case, if you want complete isolation, it’s better to have two separate Alexa accounts!
