Here is my test and review of the new widgets

WIDGET: Robot vacuum

• The information is correctly displayed and accurate: mode, suction, route, humidity, last cleaning. The robot’s position is updated live on the map

• Regarding the « Wear: Wheels » info: I assume it’s displayed because it’s at 0?
  And in my case, « wheels » is not an accessory recognized by my robot, so this information is useless for me

• The « clean », pause, base, locate buttons work well

But my big problem is that this widget is only useful for the « map » and « last cleaning » info (since this info is not provided by any device), and the 4 buttons,

And you always have to use the Dreame app to adjust the different settings, or display the following 19 devices:

WIDGET: Robot maintenance

No issues, except that the « wheels » info doesn’t correspond to anything for my robot

Thanks @Chris75, your feedback on the widgets helped me fix three things and add one you were waiting for

Fixed in 0.4.0:

• « Shortcuts3 » not appearing: that was a bug on my part, Gladys only displayed one shortcut button per widget. All your shortcuts are now displayed. Bonus: a button can clean multiple rooms, for example write « Kitchen + Living Room » in one of the buttons.
• « Wheels »: you were right, your model doesn’t have any, but the robot still responded 0%. The integration now only keeps the wear parts that your model actually has, like the app. To make the « Wheels » line disappear from your device: Discover tab → Update on the robot.
• On the map, when the robot is on its base, it is now circled in green (before, it hid the base).

New: the « Robot Settings » widget
Gladys widgets don’t have dropdown lists or sliders, so each setting becomes a row of buttons, the current choice highlighted, like in the Dreame app. You add one per setting (the choice is made in the widget parameters):

• Cleaning mode (Vacuum / Mop / Vacuum + mop / Mop after vacuuming)
• Suction power, and maximum suction
• Route (only Fast and Standard in vacuuming, like the app)
• Mop dampness (Slightly dry / Damp / Wet)
• Mop washing frequency (Per zone / Per hour / Per room)

With the Robot widget, this should replace your 19 lines of devices. Only « Customize », the exact dampness and the washing interval (m² or minutes) remain on the device, due to lack of space for more than 4 buttons per widget.

Update the integration, add 2 or 3 « Robot Settings » widgets, and send me a screenshot: this is the first time they appear in a real Gladys!

• New « Quick Clean » Widget:
  the « raccourcis3 » shortcut works well, the « hall + bathroom » button also works

• However, there are 2 issues:
  When you select the 2nd « raccourcis3 » button, it’s the 1st button that appears selected
  The night mode visual of the selected button is not visible

• new « robot settings » widget:
  well, I’m going to be « negative » (!!) but this one doesn’t work for the following reasons:
  you can only set one setting per widget and as a result they take up too much space
  moreover, it doesn’t have all possible settings, the settings are not complete and it’s impossible to choose the data via slider

Here is the comparison between
the list of settings (8 settings with slider and dropdown) with the devices
and the available settings (6 settings WITHOUT slider and dropdown) with the new widget
for me, there’s no comparison!

Thanks @Chris75 for this very complete feedback, and your comparison of settings is irrefutable

To answer your question: the feature you were waiting for was the Robot Settings widget, which was supposed to replace your 19 device lines… and you’re right, it failed. In fact, Gladys made a deliberate choice: integration widgets are read and touched, without dropdown lists or sliders. Settings, on the other hand, are for the Devices box. The best combination is the one in your screenshot: the Vacuum Robot widget + a Devices box with your 8 settings. The Settings widget remains available for those who want a single setting in large buttons on a tablet.

Fixed in 0.5.0:

• Quick Clean: no button appears « selected » without reason (it was the style of the 1st button, and in night mode it was completely invisible). Now, it’s the button of the current task that is checked : the shortcut that spins, or the rooms launched. The same goes for the active choice of the Settings widget, visible in night mode.
• Last Clean: two new devices, Last Clean - Area (m²) and Last Clean - Duration (min), with their history.
• In your screenshot, the robot was drawn on the move while it was « Charging »: the map is now re-read as soon as the robot changes state (including return to base).

To take advantage of this: update the integration, then Discover → Update on the robot (for the two new devices).

Small tip: the names of the features are fixed at their creation, hence « Floor Wash » (it’s the Route) and your old shortcut names (« Clean 1 »…). You can rename them in the device settings.

As for the super complete widget for all robots, you’re right: it’s part of Gladys’ core, not an integration.
