Hello everyone,
In Germany, there was once an advertisement with « The presumably smallest chocolate in Germany, » no one remembers what the advertisement was about, only « The presumably smallest » stuck.
So:
My presumably smallest external integration:
A button…
(For the widget configuration, you need to select your house or geolocation data and a unique identifier for Transitous, e.g., an email, which I neither store nor use in any other way).
A click opens the input form:
From top to bottom:
Start of the route, pre-filled with your house, overwritable
The destination of the route
When in the format DD.MM.YYYY
Time in the format: HH:mm
In the example above, a trip from Heidelberg, Hbf to Hamburg, Hbf is being searched for.
A click on Send and:
The next five possible connections are displayed, the first means of transport to be used is still color-coded.
If you then click directly on one of the displayed results, you get the detailed output:
You first get an overview with start, destination, date, time, and the colored badge.
Below that, the corresponding steps from start to finish.
Note:
Everything is still rudimentary, don’t be too strict with me. So don’t look for the special case of the special case. Just start with main train stations and check the result.
A lot of todos: foreign languages, documentation, details in the process and in the display.
Currently, you can only install via GitHub:

I would be happy about feedback, hints, additions and promise, guaranteed guaranteed, for my next France vacation in Toulouse, to appear at this strange bus station, eat a croissant and ponder why the stop at the train station has the same name as the bus station and the train station around the corner is also called that ![]()
Greetings
Tom
