Gladys Assistant 4.38.1: Encrypted camera streaming on iPhone, new IKEA button

Hello everyone!

New Gladys release today: Gladys Assistant 4.38.1

This release brings quite a few fixes:

  • It is now possible to use end-to-end encrypted camera streaming on iOS!! Apple has (finally) released the MediaSource API on iOS (which has long been available on Safari and iPadOS), allowing us to stream camera video feeds end-to-end encrypted on iPhone.
  • OpenWeather: Fix for a display bug in the hourly forecast display.
  • Zigbee2mqtt: Added compatibility with the IKEA Somrig button

Thanks @_Will_71 for the PR :folded_hands:

  • The map now zooms to the area where your home and zones are when displaying the map :fire: You can congratulate @GziAzman for his first contribution to Gladys!
  • Zigbee2mqtt: In the integration configuration page, the battery level of each device is now displayed! Thanks @_Will_71 for the development :folded_hands:

The full CHANGELOG is available here .

How to update?

If you installed Gladys with the official Raspberry Pi OS image, your instances will update automatically in the coming hours. It can take up to 24h, don’t panic.

If you installed Gladys with Docker, make sure you’re using Watchtower ( See the documentation )

Thanks @pierre-gilles for this new version. However, I think the deployment to GladysPlus is missing

If it has indeed been deployed, are you sure you refreshed your page?

I was on iOS, and I had refreshed the page (by switching menus and coming back). But it took a bit more than that: closing the web app and reopening it. And the interface is now up to date. Thanks :+1:
