Gladys Assistant 4.44: An alert when a backup fails?

Hello everyone!

Gladys Assistant 4.44 has just been released, with some nice new features :slight_smile:

New features:

  • When a Gladys Plus backup fails, you now receive an alert via the method you configured in Gladys (Telegram/NextCloud Talk + the « Chat Â» tab)
  • HomeKit: Motion sensors now appear in your « Home Â» app and can be used in HomeKit scenes. We recommend using a HomeKit hub (Apple TV/HomePod) for greater stability of this feature. Thanks to @cicoub13 for the development.
  • The « Devices Â» widget now removes devices already added from the list. Thanks to @Terdious for this UX improvement!
  • Fixed a z-index bug on the scene action « control a device Â»

hello @pierre-gilles,
you announced in this post from 24/6 the arrival of 4.44; it’s the 26th and it hasn’t been rolled out to me, I’m still on 4.43 even though there apparently are no malfunctions, notably on the Watchtower side, the update tool.

Hi @Einstein8854, there must be an issue on the Watchtower side — it’s been 2 days now.

  • Have you restarted your machine since? The Watchtower countdown is reset to zero on every restart
  • Have you checked the Watchtower logs? (docker logs watchtower)

re @pierre-gilles, the update just went through. No, I hadn’t restarted my server; however, Ubuntu triggered two consecutive Docker updates on it yesterday and the day before, and in Docker I had two Node-RED updates yesterday and this morning. (according to the Docker logs)
