Preparing for Zigbee2MQTT 2.0
Zigbee2MQTT will release a major 2.0 version on January 3, 2025. This version brings significant changes, and to ensure a smooth transition, I have decided to freeze Zigbee2MQTT at version 1.42.0 in Gladys for the moment.
Why this choice?
Stability is a core value of the Gladys project. Before providing this update, I want time to test it thoroughly to make sure everything works perfectly with Gladys. An automatic update during the holiday period when many people are away from home could cause unnecessary complications.
We will deploy version 2.0 manually once it has been validated, to guarantee you a reliable, trouble-free experience.
