Gladys Assistant 5.3.1: air conditioning, pilot wire and time slots

Hi everyone!

Version 5.3.1 of Gladys is available :tada:

Don’t be fooled by the number: this isn’t just a bugfix version!

Here’s what’s new:

  • :thermometer: Thermostat controls air conditioning: air conditioners and heat pumps, multiple temperature sensors, and a delay before turning off when a window opens
  • :fire: Pilot wire radiators are managed, with a new dedicated widget
  • :beach_with_umbrella: Vacation scheduling from a scene: a new action to change the thermostat schedule
  • :three_o_clock: Time ranges in scenes: turn on and off a device according to a schedule, in a single scene
  • :busts_in_silhouette: A single Users page to manage Gladys Plus access
  • :locked_with_key: Two-factor authentication without going through support: change applications, new recovery codes, email reset
  • :floppy_disk: Gladys Plus backups with finally useful alerts
  • :honeybee: Zigbee2MQTT: renaming a device no longer breaks the link with Gladys
  • :counterclockwise_arrows_button: Several native integrations pass the baton to their community version, with a „Migrate“ button

:warning: Small behavior change: thermostats with an opening sensor now wait 60 seconds before turning off the heating. Set the delay to 0 if you want to keep the immediate shutdown.

All the details, with screenshots, are in the blog post:

A huge thank you to @Will_71, who is responsible for most of the thermostat and time range features, as well as @cicoub13, @gboulvin, @bertrandda, @Terdious, and everyone who reported bugs here! :folded_hands:

As always, Gladys updates automatically within 24 hours if you use Watchtower, otherwise with one click from the settings.

Don’t hesitate to share your feedback here

The new features on the thermostat mostly come from user and tester ideas, so thank you to them.
