No, via SSH with PuTTY it doesn’t work. Network error. Software caused connection abort

SSH is not enabled/installed on Ubuntu Desktop.
I don’t use PuTTY to connect; I only use the terminal in Ubuntu, personally.
I had installed it.

This could indicate a DHCP problem (e.g., the ISP box and a router are in conflict).
I disabled the Livebox DHCP in the early afternoon.
I set the DHCP on the mini-PC → Gladys inaccessible
I set it back to manual IP configuration → Gladys accessible.
I sometimes had trouble too back when I used a router in addition to my modem.
I would sometimes get caught out by the timing: a change in routing / IP address / DHCP sometimes takes several hours to take effect.
