Hello everyone,
I’ve been closely following the project for years and I find its evolution incredible.
I would like to take the plunge and definitely replace my current system with Gladys.
However, I have a big question… is it possible to use multiple Gladys instances and control everything with a master Gladys?
Currently, in my installation, I have 3 remote Conbee antennas + Bluetooth to cover my accommodation plus 1 master server with 4G, Conbee, Zwave, Bluetooth and Mqtt.
Would it be possible to do the same job?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Have a nice day everyone.
Hello and welcome to the forum
Gladys uses MQTT to retrieve sensor data. I think it is possible to have your Conbee keys remote by connecting them to Gladys via MQTT afterwards.
In fact, I have never tried it, I let other experts give you a more accurate feedback!
For my part, I use Zigbee as the main protocol. The advantage is that only one key is needed, the signal being then retransmitted by some sensors. My connected plug, for example, is also a relay.
Hello,
Thank you for your message and the details.
Unfortunately, I only have wireless sensors, so they don’t act as relays. That’s why I installed my relay antennas in the house, covering 4 floors.
The same question also applies to Bluetooth. If I want to cover the entire house to create a sort of Bluetooth triangulation to identify which person is on which floor, for example.
Thank you again and have a great rest of your day.
Best regards,
