Being able to choose the « switch » or « light » functionality in Zigbee2Mqtt, Tuya, … integrations, as in the Tasmota integration. For example, when using a switched outlet with a lamp plugged into it, it makes more sense to declare that outlet as a light, and it has the advantage of being able to turn off an entire room with the room’s main small switch.
