Unable to link Google Home

Hello,

I’ve just started setting up a Gladys server again. So far everything is going pretty well. But I can’t set up the link with Google Home. In the app, when signing in, I get the message "An error occurred

Hi and welcome to Gladys

Did you manage to connect locally from Gladys to Gladys Plus?

Hello Pierre-Gilles,

Yes, I don’t think I’ve forgotten anything on that side

To see if it wasn’t related to Google Home, I cleared the app’s cache and did another pairing that worked perfectly.

Do you have devices in Gladys? If so, what types?

Looking at the Gladys logs might also help ( docker logs gladys )

Yes, I have temperature sensors via Zigbee2MQTT and Philips Hue lights.

I’ll try to check the logs

Well, I finally found the problem! It was due to my browser on Android (even though it had always worked with the other integrations!!!) By copying the embed link into Chrome on Android it worked!
Thanks for your responsiveness PIerre-Gilles

Good to hear it worked! Which browser was it, out of curiosity?

Gladys Plus uses fairly modern features for all the encryption functionality, and it’s true that they’re not available in all browsers

This is the Brave browser

Ah, in that case it’s probably not a functionality issue (Brave is based on Chromium), but rather an ad-blocking failure — API calls to routes with « google » in the URL may have been blocked by Brave, thinking it’s an ad.
