Hello,
to avoid opening a new topic on the same subject, I’m using this one.
Please let me know if this is not the right method.
I just completely reinstalled my Raspberry Pi (RPI) with Gladys (via Docker) and I have the same problem.
I created my administrator account and it’s impossible to log back in today; the email address is unknown.
Since this is a new installation, there is no configuration at the moment.
So I can reinstall Gladys without any problem. However, I can’t uninstall it with Docker.
This is the first time I’m using Docker — are there one or two simple command lines I can run, please?
I moved your message into a new topic — it’s better to always create a new thread for each issue!
I’m having a bit of trouble understanding what you did and what’s wrong
Edit: I think I was influenced by the other message that didn’t have a link; basically you started a Gladys container (docker run), you created a local account, and you lost the email you used to log in?
First, note that if you click « I forgot my password », and you’ve forgotten the email address, if you run:
docker logs gladys
You will be able to see the email addresses of local users in the logs. That can help you.
Otherwise, if you want to reset the instance, removing and recreating the container is not enough. If you look at the « docker run » command you executed, there is a line:
Excellent, keep us posted if you have any other sticking points
(don’t hesitate to create another thread if it’s a different issue)
Otherwise, you can introduce yourself on the forum in the « introductions » category if you want to talk a bit about your project and get some feedback!
