Integration: Devolo Home Network

I’m taking the opportunity to test this new (well, 10 days old :rofl:) integration, and here are some feedback points:

  • works with dLAN type CPL
  • overall I have 3 CPL connected at my place and in the integration only 1 single CPL is reported:

    However, we can see the throughput to/from 2 other CPL devices.
    In the logs I have no information, is it possible to check why this is happening?
    Thanks in advance @guim31!

Thanks @mutmut for the test! The integration only finds adapters that announce themselves on the network (mDNS) with their management interface. The other two appear in the throughput because the first one sees them on the power line, but they don’t seem to announce themselves.

Try this: if they have an IP address (visible in your box or in the devolo Home Network app), enter it in the Addresses field of the configuration (separated by commas), then restart « Search for adapters ».

And let me know the exact model of the two missing Powerline adapters: the oldest dLAN models don’t have a management interface, and in that case I could display them based on what the first one sees :slight_smile:

I also have a comment about the data rates.
We can see the data rate of dlan-sejour:

But in fact, it’s the data rate between dlan-sejour and dlan-dinrail:

Is it possible to get better information on the Devolo widget?

And the possibility to disable the display of the Wifi button (which I don’t use)?

Indeed, he is the only one with Wi-Fi and therefore a web page.
I will check for the other two with a manual IP.

EDIT: I haven’t found the IPs yet, but here are the specifications:

@mutmut thanks for the details! The 1.1.0 version of devolo is out:

  • each throughput names the CPL at the other end of the link (« ↔ dlan-dinrail »);
  • dLAN devices without a management interface now have their own line in the widget, according to what your Wi-Fi CPL sees (throughput to the router adapter, « Offline » if it no longer sees them). They do not appear as devices: without an interface, there is nothing else to read from them;
  • a widget setting, Guest Wi-Fi Button, allows hiding the button.

Update from Gladys, then modify your widget to uncheck the button :slight_smile:
