Hi everyone! ![]()
Last of the French boxes: here is the Bbox from Bouygues Telecom in Gladys, locally, via the official box API.
What it does
The line: fiber, VDSL2 or ADSL, synchronized or not, synchronized speeds.
Internet: connected or not, instantaneous speeds for upload and download, public IP, IPv6.
Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and guest, which can also be turned on and off from Gladys.
Missed calls, if your Bbox provides them.
Connected devices: presence by MAC address, for the devices you choose.
Number of connected devices, uptime, temperature, model and firmware.
Three scene triggers: « Internet Connection Lost », « Internet Connection Restored » and « Missed Call », with the number.
A « Bbox » widget: live speeds, connected devices, status, and a guest Wi-Fi button.- In French, English, German and Spanish

The cool thing
Friends arrive â a button on the dashboard turns on the guest Wi-Fi, and a scene turns it off at midnight
Missed call while youâre in the garden â notification with the number
Internet connection lost â message on the phone in 4G, so you donât discover it in the evening
Installation
Gladys 5.1 minimum.
It arrives in the store during the day. In a hurry? Integrations â Install from GitHub, with the address GitHub - guim31/gladys-bbox: Bouygues Telecom Bbox status (line, WAN, Wi-Fi, connected devices) for Gladys Assistant, local API · GitHub
- In the configuration, indicate the Bbox address (192.168.1.254 by default) and its administrator password.
- Click on Test the connection.
- Discovery tab: add the Bbox, and the devices whose presence you want to track.
Honest small reservations
Beta, developed without a Bbox. Tests were done on real Bbox responses (F@st5330b, F@st5688b) taken from public projects, notably pybbox (MIT, thanks!).- The Bbox certificate is properly verified: the integration does not cut TLS security silently.
- The Bbox protects against repeated connections: a wrong password is not retried in a loop.
@cicoub13, you told me you had a Bbox: your turn to play
And anyone with a Bbox is welcome to test ![]()
Like the previous ones, developed with Claude Code
