Thank you very much
Gladys assistant being root on the system should be able to shut down the system, right?
@_Will_71 do you have Gladys in dark mode?
@b3n.0 yes itâs my browser that forces the dark theme.
Weâre talking about it here Dark mode dans Gladys
Ok thanksâŠ
Iâll take a look
The Opera browser has a dark mode that looks pretty good.
I wouldnât go so far as to recommend Opera because we donât officially support it in Gladys ![]()
As a reminder, we officially support Firefox, Safari, and Chrome. Itâs already hard to test on 3 browsers ![]()
That said, it probably works on Opera, but keep in mind that if thereâs an issue it could come from that ![]()
Iâve been using it for a while, I havenât had any problems.
I havenât noticed any defects either, but thatâs only a superficial observation.
As for me, Iâm on Vivaldi.
It still uses a Chromium base like Chrome, so normally there isnât much difference.
Iâve also been using Vivaldi with Gladys from the start and have had no issues.
Yes, itâs Chromium-based, and I have no issues on my side either.

Itâs easier on Gladys!!
Itâs clear! ![]()
Thanks @bjm
itâs great to talk about Gladys!
It would be great if maison et domotique talked about it too â when they wrote an article about Gladys 2 years ago it drove massive traffic to the site ![]()
Hello everyone!
I noticed a small practical issue with the Ecowatt scene action: if the request to Ecowatt fails for one reason or another (internet outage, etc.), the action continues instead of stopping (because by default in a Gladys scene, if an action fails the scene does not fail)
We should change this behavior and throw a special scene-interrupt error so it doesnât continue.
I canât do it right now since Iâm in the middle of leaving for vacation, but Iâll keep a GitHub issue for when Iâm back:
This was just a quick message to let you know in case you see the issue at your place!
This is a behavior I encountered during a scene that I interrupted before it finished executing.
I had scheduled an action 5 minutes after the first and I stopped the scene just after the first action.
And to my great surprise, the scene finished executing.
I didnât know whether this was normal or a bug.
What do you mean by « I stopped the scene »?
It is not possible to stop a scene in Gladys (currently).
And besides, the fact that a failed action does not stop the execution of the scene is intended behavior â if you want to make a scene that turns off 5 lamps in your home + the heating, if one lamp doesnât respond itâs a shame to stop
I mean deactivate with the on/off button
So thatâs why my Christmas lights turned off by themselves twice since I installed Ecowatt.
