A big thank you for the Ariston.net integration… Would it be possible to add the « Manual », « Programmed » and « Eco » functions (the latter is the boiler managing according to our habits).
Then I tested the « Boost » function, it switches well on my phone app but when I click to deactivate it, it doesn’t work.
Still regarding the official app, the remaining heating time is missing…" Temperature in…".
Boost : well spotted, the widget button could only start the boost. This is fixed in 1.0.2 of Ariston NET: during a boost, the button becomes « Stop boost » and restores the previous mode. Update from Gladys.
Manual / Scheduled / Eco : the modes go through the « Mode » feature of the water heater, which you can add to your dashboard. The list depends on the model, because Ariston doesn’t use the same codes everywhere. Can you tell me the exact model of your water heater? I’ll check that Eco is indeed offered for it.
Remaining heating time : I’ll check if the Ariston cloud provides this for your model, and I’ll add it if that’s the case.
The model is the VELIS TECH DRY WIFI…and if I can also ask for the indication of the « anti-legionella » phase.
Thank you
I found my mistake…when I add a widget I have 2 options…Gladys widget and integration widget. The « selection » modes are in DEVICES of the Gladys widget…I therefore need to place 2 integrations on my boiler dashboard.
Thanks @Fabrice for the model, it helped me find what I needed
The 1.1.0 update for Ariston NET adds, for your Velis Tech Dry Wi-Fi and models of the same generation:
Eco: a switch for the Eco function in the app, the one that learns your habits. At Ariston, it’s a separate setting, next to the mode;
Remaining heating time, in minutes, the “At temperature in…” of the app;
Anti-legionella cycle, active during the cycle.
All three also appear in the integration widget. After the update from Gladys, go to the Discovery tab: Gladys will suggest updating your water heater to add these features.
I don’t have a Velis to test, I relied on the library that Home Assistant uses. Let me know if the Eco switches correctly in your app.
And yes, you saw correctly for the two types of widgets: the integration widget gives an overview, and Gladys’ “Devices” widget gives all the commands, including the mode selection.
I have all the features. The only minor issue, which doesn’t bother me at all, is that the dialogue is one-way from Gladys to the app and not the other way around.
For the application → Gladys direction: the Ariston cloud does not notify Gladys when you change something in the app. The integration will therefore re-read the status every 5 minutes by default. A change made in the app arrives in Gladys at the next read, at most 5 minutes later. You can reduce this to 3 minutes in the Refresh Interval of the configuration. If a change still does not appear after this delay, let me know and I will check.
