External integration - La Poste (package tracking)

Hi everyone!

Who has never refreshed the tracking page of a parcel ten times? Here comes La Poste for Gladys: tracking of Colissimo, Chronopost parcels and tracked letters via the official La Poste API, with scenes when a parcel is shipped or delivered.

What it does

  • Adding parcels from the configuration (optional number and name), or via a scene action that finds the number in a text, for example the subject of an email sent by the IMAP integration.
  • A « La Poste Parcel » device with counters (in progress, in delivery, to be picked up, issues, recently delivered) and a summary.
  • A « My Parcels » widget: up to 8 parcels, the most urgent first, with status, last step and date; on touch, the carrier, the pickup point, the history and the link to laposte.fr.
  • Triggers: parcel in delivery, delivered, to be picked up, issue (return, incomplete address…). And an action « Read the status of my parcels ».
  • A delivered parcel is no longer queried and disappears on its own after 7 days.

The cool thing

Parcel in delivery → « Shoes arrive today » on the phone
Parcel to be picked up → reminder with the address of the pickup point
Colissimo email received (IMAP integration) → « Track a parcel » with the email subject

Installation

Gladys 5.1 minimum.

It will arrive in the store at the next indexer run. In the meantime: Integrations → Install from GitHub, with the address GitHub - guim31/gladys-laposte: La Poste parcel tracking (Colissimo, Chronopost, tracked letters) in Gladys Assistant · GitHub

  1. Create an account on developer.laposte.fr and subscribe to the « Tracking » API (free), then copy the key.
  2. Paste the key in the configuration and add a parcel.
  3. Add the « La Poste Parcel » device from the Discovery tab.

Small honest reservation: it was developed without a real key or real parcel, based on the published response examples (only the refusal of a bad key was verified against the real API). The real labels and step codes remain to be confirmed: if you try it with a parcel in progress, let me know what you see. La Poste only (no DHL, UPS or Mondial Relay), up to 50 parcels.
