External integration - Peugeot / Citroën / DS / Opel

cover-stellantis

Hi everyone!

After Renault/Dacia and Hyundai/Kia, the most sold cars in France were missing: Peugeot, Citroën, DS, and Opel (and Vauxhall). They all go through the same Stellantis cloud, the one for the MyPeugeot, MyCitroën, MyDS, and MyOpel apps. Electric, plug-in hybrid, or connected thermal vehicles: Gladys now knows the status of the car.

What it does

  • One device per car, with:
    • the battery level, range (electric, fuel, and total), fuel level;
    • the charging status (charging, finished, waiting, unplugged), whether it’s plugged in or not, charging speed, and time remaining;
    • the mileage, lock status, an open door or trunk, pre-conditioning in progress, outside temperature;
    • the GPS position, optional and disabled by default.
  • A « Charging finished » trigger and a « Read car now » action.
  • A « My car » widget with the estimated end of charge time.
  • The car is never woken up: Gladys reads what it sent to the cloud, every 15 minutes by default.
  • Available in French, English, German, and Spanish.

The cool part

At 9 p.m., if the battery is below 30% and the car is not plugged in → « Remember to plug in the car »
Charging finished → notification with the percentage and range
Car left unlocked for 10 minutes → alert

Installation

:warning: Gladys 5.1 minimum.

It will arrive in the store at the next indexer run. In the meantime: Integrations → Install from GitHub, with GitHub - guim31/gladys-stellantis: Peugeot, Citroën, DS and Opel connected cars (Stellantis) for Gladys Assistant · GitHub

  1. Choose the app (MyPeugeot, MyCitroën…) and the country, then save.
  2. Click on Connect: the brand page opens. Stellantis only accepts mobile app login, so there’s a small one-time setup to do on a computer: open developer tools (F12), log in, copy the mymap://…code=… line that appears in the console, and paste it into « Finish connection ». The documentation shows this step-by-step for Chrome, Firefox, and Safari.
  3. Discovery tab: add your cars.

Honest small reservations

  • Read-only for now: no pre-conditioning, charging command, or remote locking. These commands go through another Stellantis service, with SMS enrollment and the app’s PIN code, which can’t be tested without an account (and a failed attempt can lock it). If someone wants to test, we’ll happily discuss it.
  • Developed without a car or account. I verified from home that each brand’s login page opens correctly and that a fake code is properly rejected, but a real connection still needs to be made: your feedback is welcome.
  • Fiat, Jeep, and Alfa Romeo use a different cloud and are not covered.

Like the previous ones, developed with Claude Code. Independent project, not affiliated with Stellantis or its brands.

I’ll be able to test this soon, I’m getting my 208 electric at the end of the month :heart_eyes:

Cool! You’ll let me know!

But myPeugeot doesn’t seem to be free, those bastards, you confirm or you didn’t even check the code? :joy:

@Nagromdark I checked, and good news: no need to pay for anything ^^

The integration only reads the car’s status (battery, range, charging, locking…), exactly what the MyPeugeot app displays. For that, you just need the free app and the basic connected services, and according to Peugeot, on a new e-208 the Connect One pack is included for 10 years.

The paid offers (e-Remote Control, Connect Plus) are only for remote commands: starting pre-conditioning, starting or stopping charging… And precisely, this first version doesn’t do that yet, so you don’t need them.

I added the clarification in the documentation. Looking forward to your feedback when the 208 arrives!
