[Integration] Wemo – Control your Belkin Wemo outlets and switches locally
Hello everyone,
Belkin shut down the Wemo cloud in January 2026. However, many Wemo outlets and switches still work very well on the local network. I have therefore created a Wemo external integration for Gladys: no account, no cloud, everything stays with you.

Not supported: the Wemo Link bridge (and its bulbs), Wemo appliances (coffee maker, slow cooker…), and recent models designed for HomeKit only.
What the Integration Does
- Automatic discovery of Wemo devices (SSDP, done by Gladys).
- Manual IP addresses if your Wemo devices are on another VLAN or a mesh Wi-Fi.
- Finds a Wemo device that changes port or IP address after a restart.
- « Local » / « Unreachable » badge on each device.
- Buttons in the configuration screen: « Search for Wemo » and « Test Connection ».

Triggers
- Motion detected (Wemo Motion)
- Insight state changed: on, standby (« the washing machine has finished ») or off
- Wemo reachable or not
Actions
- Toggle a Wemo (on ↔ off)
- Read an Insight (state, power, daily energy)
- Search for Wemo devices
Example: « When the washing machine Insight goes to standby → send me a message ».
Dashboard Widgets
- Wemo Devices: all your Wemo devices at a glance, unreachable ones first, total power of Insight devices, search button.
- Wemo Insight: real-time power and energy, daily consumption, 24-hour curve, on/off button.
Installation
- You need Gladys 5.1 or newer.
- Install Wemo from the integrations catalog.
- Open the Discovery tab and add your Wemo devices.
Your Wemo devices must already be on your Wi-Fi. Tip: give them a fixed IP (reserved DHCP lease).

I Need Testers 
This is a first version, tested by automated tests but not yet on real Wemo devices. Your feedback helps a lot, especially on:
- the Wemo Maker: does the input correctly read 1 when the contact is closed?
- the Wemo Dimmer: does the brightness follow correctly?
- the standby state of the Insight.
For feedback, please provide your Wemo model and the integration logs (with LOG_LEVEL=debug).
