Most popular Home Assistant integrations → candidates for Gladys external integrations

Five more in a row: UniFi Access (default unlock disabled), Keenetic, Samsung SyncThru, Sigenergy and ConnectLife (Hisense, Gorenje, ASKO).

And the last batch of five: Tempest (WeatherFlow stations), Tomorrow.io, EnergyZero (dynamic pricing NL), TP-Link Deco, and Philips Air (air purifiers, locally).

Late morning batch on my side, all testable for real (recap here when they come out):

  • Spoolman: filament spool stock for 3D printing (remaining weight, end-of-spool alerts in scenes), in addition to OctoPrint, Moonraker, and PrusaLink integrations
  • Emoncms (OpenEnergyMonitor): energy flows from a local Emoncms server as Gladys sensors
  • Snapcast: multi-room audio, with volume, mute, and stream selection per room from scenes

If anyone was already on it, let me know

The late morning batch is out:

Not yet tested in a real Gladys installation: your feedback is welcome.

And the 15 from this morning, all published (GitHub link for « Install from GitHub » while waiting for the indexer):

Home: Motionblinds (Brel, Bloc Blinds, Dooya) · Philips Air (purifiers, local) · ConnectLife (Hisense, Gorenje, ASKO) · Samsung SyncThru

Security: DoorBird · UniFi Access

Energy: Zaptec · Kostal Plenticore · Sigenergy · EnergyZero (NL prices)

Network and Multimedia: Keenetic · TP-Link Deco · Sony Audio (soundbars)

Weather: Tempest (WeatherFlow) · Tomorrow.io

For DoorBird and UniFi Access, door opening is disabled by default and never exists as a switch. Tested in real life when possible: the actual daily prices from EnergyZero, and the proper rejection of a fake account or key by Zaptec, ConnectLife, Tomorrow.io, and Tempest. The others were developed without the hardware: feedback welcome, in a new topic or on GitHub.

I’ll stop there for this week!

Eight integrations from the second batch are published: they arrive at the store at the next indexer pass, and “Install from GitHub” already works with the link of each repository.

  • Domoticz (bridge) v0.1.1: every device used in your Domoticz appears in Discovery (lights, dimmers and colored bulbs, shutters with position, selectors, locks, setpoints, weather, P1 meters, gas, water and energy, push buttons as events), tracked in a few seconds and controlled through Domoticz, with an access token or a user. Tested against a real Domoticz 2026.4.
  • Fibaro / Yubii Home v0.1.1: your Home Center 2, Home Center 3 or Yubii Home without migrating anything: switches, outlets with consumption, dimmers, RGBW, shutters, thermostats, locks and sensors tracked in real-time, remote controls and buttons as scene triggers, and an action “Run a Fibaro Scene”.
  • Homey Pro (bridge) v0.1.1: your Homey Pro (2023) locally with an API key, found automatically on the network: lights, outlets with consumption, shutters, thermostats, locks, buttons and sensors tracked in real-time and controlled through Homey.
  • eedomus (bridge) v0.1.1: every device from your eedomus box in Discovery (lamps and dimmers, outlets, shutters, heating with pilot wire, setpoints, detectors, measurements, remote controls as triggers), via the local API of the box, with the eedomus cloud as a backup.
  • Radio meters wM-Bus v0.1.1: your wireless water, heat, gas and electricity meters (Sensus iPERL, Diehl Izar and Hydrus, Kamstrup Multical 21, Itron, Techem…) decoded by wmbusmeters and published on your MQTT broker: index, flow rate, temperatures and leak, dry meter, or low battery alarms. Tested against the real wmbusmeters.
  • Panasonic Aquarea v0.1.1: your Aquarea heat pump via the Panasonic cloud (CZ-TAW1 adapter) or locally with a HeishaMon card: zone temperatures and setpoints, hot water tank, heating, cold, auto and silent modes, error code as a scene trigger, power and energy for the energy dashboards.
  • Toshiba AC v0.1.1: the air conditioners and air-to-air heat pumps from the Toshiba Home AC Control app, in real-time via the Toshiba cloud: on/off, mode, setpoint, ventilation, sweep, power, Hi-POWER, ECO, silent, frost protection 8 °C, temperatures and energy.
  • MCZ Maestro v0.1.1: the MCZ Maestro and Maestro+ pellet stoves via the cloud of the MCZ MAESTRO app: on/off, setpoint, power, fans, eco and silent modes, temperatures, status, pellets, and the alarms with their meaning as a scene trigger.

Sure Petcare and Marstek will follow. All have been developed without the hardware (Domoticz and wmbusmeters have nevertheless run against the real software): your feedback is welcome in the GitHub issues of each repository.

@guim31: for Aquarea, I reused the Panasonic ID connection from your panasonic-cc (Apache-2.0, credited). If you add Aquarea on your side one day, let me know, so we don’t duplicate.

Launching 8 at once was really a bad idea. After 7 minutes of work, I’ve already exhausted my session :sob:

… and who will give the developer of matterbridge one of his tokens for a new GUI there. The search, administration, and configuration are really not Gladys-like.

Just by the way, maybe a professional will take a shot at it.

(but if it happens: honor to whom honor is due, so with the developer there)

Regards

Tom

The last two of the second batch are published, the batch is complete:

  • Sure Petcare v0.1.1: your SureFlap cat flaps (lock mode adjustable from Gladys: open, keep inside or outside, closed, curfew), SureFeed feeders (bowl weight, last meal), Felaqua (remaining water), and each animal (inside or outside, and since when), with batteries, online statuses and scene triggers “Animal out”, “Animal in” and “Animal ate”, via the Sure Petcare cloud.
  • Marstek Venus v0.1.1: the Marstek Venus E, A, D and C batteries read locally via the Open API (UDP, no cloud): charge level, charging and discharging power, solar, grid and off-grid, CT meter and energy counters for Gladys’ energy views, temperature, and mode control (self-consumption, IA, passive with power and duration, backup). The Open API is activated in the Marstek app; the Venus C and E 2.0 are added via their IP address.

They will arrive in the store at the next indexer run, “Install from GitHub” already works with the repository link. Neither has yet run with a real account or a real battery: your feedback is welcome in the GitHub issues.

It’s coming along!
@pierre-gilles in P1 there’s practically only Bluetooth left, I don’t have anything with Bluetooth except my phone but is there an issue with this type of integration?

@Will_71 Waze Travel Time is still available, you can make it free again in the tracking. I had released it at #122 (duplicate with Mapbox Traffic), and upon closer inspection, the API that should be used is not official: Waze has blocked automated access since the end of September and its terms of use prohibit it.

On the other hand, I am taking back Solcast: gladys-solcast. In addition to Forecast.Solar, not in its place: Solcast forecasts, calculated from satellite images, with the free « hobbyist » account (10 calls per day), up to two roof panels and a low and high range (P10 / P90) around the forecast.

ok it works

Solcast v0.1.1 is published, in addition to Forecast.Solar: Solcast solar forecasts (satellite images and weather models) with the free „Home User“ account, for one or two roof panels and their total.

  • Same sensors and units as Forecast.Solar, to compare the two side by side: estimated power now, today’s energy, remaining and tomorrow’s, plus the low and high range (P10 / P90).
  • The 10 free account calls per day are spread over the sunny hours and counted from one restart to another.
  • Scene triggers „forecast updated“, start, peak, and end of production.
  • Gladys 5.1 minimum.

It will arrive in the store at the next indexer run, „Install from GitHub“ already works with the repository link. Not yet tested with a real Solcast account: your feedback is welcome in the GitHub issues.

I’m taking on five new integrations still available (checked today in @Will_71’s tracker, in this thread, in the store, in Gladys’ core, and on GitHub):

  • PetKit (P2 #252): PetKit feeders, fountains, and litter boxes: remaining food and water, meals given, litter box visits, and alerts, in addition to Sure Petcare.
  • Niko Home Control II (P2 #368): Niko installation via the official Hobby API, locally: lights, dimmers, shutters, thermostats, outlets, and actions. For our Belgian friends, as pierre-gilles suggested at #60.
  • Somfy Protexial / Protexiom (P3 #796): Old Somfy alarm panels via their local web interface, no cloud: arming by zone, shutters, lights, and states (batteries, radio, GSM, openings).
  • Honeywell Evohome (P2 #245): Evohome zonal heating in Europe: temperatures, setpoints, modes, and hot water.
  • Bluesound / BluOS (P2 #247): Bluesound and NAD speakers and players via their local API: playback, volume, source, presets, and groups.

All on SDK 0.15, in French and English. No topic per integration: a single recap here when they are released, with the link to each repository. Testers welcome, especially for Protexial alarms and Niko Home Control!

No possibility to do Bluetooth currently, but Gladys integrates very well with Theengs:

Otherwise, you will have to wait:

Afternoon batch on my side, six this time, still testable for real (recap here when they come out):

  • EMSC Earthquakes: Earthquakes felt near you, live (Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Centre), with magnitude, distance and scene triggers; in addition to GDACS, which only sees major disasters
  • Zabbix: Hosts and problems from a Zabbix server in Gladys, problems as scene triggers
  • Firefly III: Account balances, budgets and upcoming bills from your self-hosted finance manager
  • OwnTone (formerly forked-daapd): The music server and its AirPlay and Chromecast outputs, volume and playback by room
  • Beszel: Light supervision of your servers (processor, memory, disks, temperatures, alerts)
  • Agent DVR (iSpy): Agent DVR cameras, detections as triggers and arming from scenes

If anyone was already on it, let me know

I would like to switch Tasmota to an external version because there are features that have never been implemented and that interest me (the dew point, for example). @pierre-gilles are you okay with that or would you prefer not to?

Go for external Tasmota!! Everything that can be external should be  No need to ask me!!

The five integrations reserved for #214 are published:

  • PetKit v0.1.1: feeders (food level, amount dispensed, last meal, distribution from a button or a scene), litter boxes (litter level, waste bin, deodorizer, passages and weight of each cat, cleaning and deodorization) and Eversweet fountains (water, filter, pump), via the PetKit cloud, with the triggers « Litter used », « Meal distributed » and « PetKit alert ». A PetKit account only accepts one connection at a time: the documentation explains how to add a second account in the family to keep the app.
  • Niko Home Control II v0.1.1: locally via the Hobby API of the Connected Controller, without cloud and in real-time: lighting, dimmers, outlets, shutters, awnings, gates, ambiances and all off, virtual flags, thermostats (setpoint, mode, program), meters, doorbell rings as events, and a reminder before the annual token expiration.
  • Somfy Protexial / Protexiom v0.1.1: the old Somfy Protexial, Protexiom and Protexial IO alarms, locally via the control panel’s web page: status and arming of zones A, B and C, shutters and lights of the control panel, faults (batteries, self-protection, radio, GSM, openings, intrusion), authentication card imported from the control panel, and triggers for the alarm, arming and batteries. Disarming from Gladys remains disabled until you authorize it.
  • Honeywell Evohome v0.1.1: the Evohome heating in Europe, via the international Total Connect Comfort cloud: each zone with its temperature and setpoint (temporary or permanent override, return to program), the system mode (Auto, Economy, Away, Holiday, Custom, Off), hot water (on, off, boost, program), faults and low batteries, with actions and scene triggers.
  • BluOS Players v0.1.1 (« Players (works with BluOS) » in the store): Bluesound, NAD and other BluOS-compatible players, locally and without account, like Sonos in Gladys: playback, volume, mute, source and presets, current track and groups followed in real-time, Gladys notifications with playback resumption.

They will arrive in the store at the next indexer run, « Install from GitHub » already works with the link of each repository. None of them has yet run with a real account or a real device: your feedback is welcome in the GitHub issues, especially for the Protexial control panels and the Niko installations.

Good luck @guim31 with the maintenance! It’s already starting to pile up at my place, I’ve barely done 50% of your work!
