Integrate the UP2stream system into Gladys (multiroom speaker)

Hello
I use this UP2Steam mini board,

It allows creating a multiroom speaker, but there are off-the-shelf speakers using the same protocol https://www.arylic.com/
We use it with the IEAST PLAY app
Would it be possible to integrate it into Gladys like the Sonos integration?
There is this link too, which I found and which provides more details and is cheaper :

@Psoy

I didn’t know about it, but indeed it can be a good solution for people like me who have a home theater and are annoyed by the wires; you still have to check idle power consumption — given the 5V 1A power supply it probably won’t be much!

I’ll add the link to the APIs — indeed it would be nice to have an integration like Sonos, though it depends on how many people have this system, but to repurpose speakers into Sonos speakers :+1:

Hello @cce66
This board only acts as a preamp at the audio output level (so to speak), you need an amplifier behind it. I modified some fairly punchy PC speakers and it works properly outdoors under my gazebo.

oh darn :frowning:
how did you plug it in exactly?

I unplugged the jack cable that goes to the PC, inserted the turntable between the two, and increased the amp
