Hi
so I don’t know yet if it’s that, but I have regular Ubuntu updates on the machine where my Gladys is installed
and if I don’t reboot afterwards I can no longer connect to my machine from the local network
but Gladys is still operational
does anyone have any idea whether those updates are really the cause, because I’m not sure
Hi @Prof_Techno that doesn’t ring a bell… I don’t have that issue here
When you say you can no longer connect to your machine from the local network, you mean over SSH, right?
so SSH I don’t know basically I’m on my phone or on another PC than the one where Gladys is installed
and after
But what are you trying to do? I don’t understand.

I’m not trying to do much, just connect to Gladys
What kind of updates are you talking about?
Hard to help you without more information, I must admit!
I suspected as much, and on top of that I can’t reproduce it right now. I was stuck for 15 days — I’ll see if I have any issues during that time.

If I understand correctly, after your Ubuntu update it’s as if your local IP address changed, so you can’t connect locally to the Gladys interface, and restarting the computer puts everything back in order.
Yes, that’s it, but I didn’t think to check if the IP address had changed.
