New promising Z-Wave library: node-zwave-js

@VonOx for information, I found a new Z-Wave library in pure JS! :o

This library is brand new, but very promising

That’s great! Compilation is done  (just need to implement/test now)

This was more of an FYI post. In my opinion, the library is still far from having the history of Open-Zwave:

  • Which devices are covered by this library?
  • Will this library be maintained in the future? What is the project’s business model? What is the motivation of the contributor(s)?

In my opinion, it’s more of a library for the years to come if it is still maintained in the years to come

there are already quite a few devices

Let’s test it then  But for this kind of project, which is quite titanic to manage, you really need to be sure that the project won’t be abandoned, otherwise it’s a lot of development to do everything again each time!
